Sue took her first steps the other day. Our baby is not a baby any longer. She is so happy and is growing so big and strong. We love our Susie.

Update on Susie
Susie is now 6 months! She is so active. She loves to crawl, yes I said crawl, this little girl turned over at 2&1/2 months and is now crawling and sitting up on her own at 6 months. I am sure walking is just around the corner. It's a good thing we are moving into a bigger place because right now it seems as if I am picking up Susie all the time in order to turn her around to go the other direction. She is like a remote control car but with batteries that never run down and a very smart driver that likes to get into everything. This past week we took her in for her 6 month checkup with the peditrician...
Weight: 17.3 lbs and is in the 75%
Height: 28 inches and is in the upper 97%
Don't get me wrong she has the occasional runny nose, ear infection, and sniffle but besides that has been very, very healthy. She is now eating solids. I waiting until her 6 month birthday to start. I now realize that she was probably ready for them way before I started feeding them to her seeing that she inhales them when she gets them.
This past week we also got her 6 month pictures taken at JCPenny. They did a great job. Enjoy the pictures of our princess. We sure are proud of her and her development.

My one and only...
It is true my one and only love affair I have with my TV is...DANCING WITH THE STARS...I am a huge fan. As some of you know during my years in college I was a member of the UVSC ballroom touring team. I have competed nationally and internationally with ballroom dance. It was a very fun time of my life. I was probably in the best shape I will ever be in my life. I was dancing between 5-6 hours a day between team and individual practice. When I watch people, as I see on Dancing with the Stars, through their dancing interpret the music and give it new life it helps me to "feel" the music. There are a few things in my life that if I had another chance I would do differently but dancing is NOT one of them. Here are a few pics from my younger years and much, much more makeup than I normally wear.
I am the one on right that looks SURPRISED! I bet you are all wondering just what happened at this photo shoot to make us all react the way we did, aren't ya! I'll never tell. :)
Me and my ballroom girls showing some leg - OOO...lala!
My legs are the far right ones!
GOOD TIMES...GOOD MEMORIES!!!
I loved watching all of the professionals dance and have even danced with one of the professionals myself - Louie Van Amstel (Precilla Presley's partner) - it was amazing even though it was only a couple of private lessons. Pretty cool! My claim to fame. This past season of Dancing with the Stars there is one professional singer/dancer performances that stands out in my mind as my most favorite...Sheryl Crow and a professional partnership that I had never heard of before. Here is a youtube video of the performance. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Man, oh man, do I miss performing for live crowds. What a thrill! It's hard to say which is the better crowd though - thousands of people over in Blackpool England or my husband and daughter here in our apartment.
Enjoy the video below
Shoes that always stay on

I found an internet site that has the cutest socks ever for girls and boys! The ones that I bought Susie are the "Mary Jane socks". These socks on her look as if she is wearing a sock and a shoe. The website that I found them on is http://www.babybella.biz/ They are pricey but worth the price-seeing that you are buying socks and shoes. Thank you Jim for letting me get these for our princess! They also have a line of toys called "taggies". I am going to try and make a few of my own. Such a simple idea but a good one. I am pretty sure that if Susie had all the toys in the world her favorite things to play with would still be paper, string, or any type of tag.
I also found at our local LDS bookstore a set of "little people" missionaries for Susie to play with. You can buy them also http://www.minimissionary.com/
SO CUTE!!!

Put your left leg out...do the bunny, hop*hop*hop!
Susie is now getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. I swear she is just one day soon going to decide to stand right up and start running around the house. She is learning things so fast. She now does this cute new little thing when she gets up on her hands and knees...she does the "bunny hop". Here is a short video of our bouncing bunny.
What do I play with first?
This past week we went out and got Susie an activity center to play with. Usually we have just laid her on the floor with some toys scattered around her but she is now moving around so much on the floor that we needed to find a new way to keep our daughter busy. This was our solution...she loves it. Bounce away my daughter. Bounce away.

Home Sweet Home!!!
We just finished our option period on our new house yesterday!!! We will be moving in to our first home around June 10th. We are so excited. One of my favorite things about the house is the large covered patio in the back. It has two ceiling fans to help us keep cool here in the Texas heat. More inside pictures to come in June when we move in. Here is a look at the front and the back of the house.
